Christine is the Filipino-American maker behind What’s Up, Cupcake? Whimsical Crafts LLC, bringing her lifelong love of fiber arts to Raleigh, North Carolina, where she relocated from the California Bay Area over a decade ago. What evolved from a love of cross-stitch and embroidery, into sewing and then knitting, and ultimately an obsession with crochet, Christine has found her true passion in crafting whimsical crochet plushies. Her designs reflect a playful mix of the mystical, magical, and delightfully silly, each piece infused with imagination and care. Through her work, she hopes to spark joy, celebrate creativity, and share a bit of handmade wonder with every creation that leaves her studio.
